The Land Use Committee will continue to be responsible for making recommendations to the Council on matters certified to the Council by the Plan Commission. It will also research and take input on other land use matters of community concern, with a focus on implementing the city's Comprehensive Plan and Unified Development Ordinance, as well as on more specific issues relating to land use within the city's planning jurisdiction, both by the city itself and other public or private developers.
